What's the name about?
When I started to have the idea I needed a connection to Northampton - after a little bit of research I found Ham Tune, first recognised as a settlement in 914 - aka Hampton, aka (North) Hampton, aka Northampton as the name evolved over time. I did check if there were any other UK based Hamtune dance music websites - but as you may guess I didn't find any....

12 days to go until the first guest DJ...
He's warming up the decks, we've got no idea on the mix - its free reigns given to the guests to be creative, one things for certain, it won't be be background noise...

Website Updates
Several updates to keep everyone informed! Calendar - removed - it was taking too long via the website method to work out the events - most of which were on Facebook, and move them over to here with pictures and links - this will be a Weds evening weekly post from the Facebook page Monthly mix - now kicked off with an introduction - we have 3 DJs - April, May and June lined up already and we're looking for more! Built and run with a similar ethos of openess, house, soul and dancing it took the reigns... Heres the story told by the r

Festival Season
Late winter/early spring is when the festival ads start to really get pummelled across the socials, from the nationals to the local fields. This leads to feelings of complex conflict - experiences vs guilt? The recent finding of up to and possibly over 150 of UK and European festivals are run by the 'big four': Live Nation, AEG, CTS Eventim and Superstruct Entertainment I work in the engineering industry, leaning towards the automotive side as a preference (oo err), we're f

nORTHERN dISCO lIGHTS
Coming up to its 10th anniversary of being made, with classic lines of "live sex being transmitted" and "what the fuck is this machine" - this tells the story of isolated Norwegians being exposed, then frankly, taking over the disco world scene. A great story, and what from what i've been told, is celebrating the anniversary with Manchester screenings and events. Watch here (only £5.99 to buy!): https://youtu.be/xQKUPNykUNM?si=gtw4ZlyW5iumJUge A vibrant dance floor filled wi
